Design Manager Harisa was born in Zurich, Switzerland and spent her early childhood in Sarajevo before moving to Istanbul, where she studied and traveled throughout South Eastern Europe as a photographer. Her career path took her to Miami, where she lived in Key West and spent a period of time photographing South America and the Caribbean.

In 1993 Harisa began studying architecture at the University of Toronto. And in 1995 she joined a university exchange program and continued her studies in Paris, Barcelona and Southern Bulgaria and North Africa. Her architectural career started with positions in Istanbul, Sarajevo and Toronto.  Harisa joined International architects Diamond Schmitt in 2002 where she worked as a Project Architect. 

In July 2006 Harisa relocated to Bulgaria from Toronto to look after the yooBulgaria developments for Diamond Schmitt.  By February 2007 Harisa had fallen in love with the area became a direct member of the Unique Developments team.   Harisa's role ensures the implementation of design quality of the Unique Developments and yooBulgaria brands. 

Harisa's family and friends are frequent visitors and admirers of Bulgaria and when not working she is at her happiest enjoying the beaches and beautiful hiking trails in the summer and skiing in the mountains in winter.
